Flash Flash Car Crash

The crunching of metal on metal and the smell of burning rubber fill the air as the two cars collide on the rain slicked road, spinning out into the highway barriers. The injured parties lay, scared and badly hurt, but alive..Oliver screams out for his best friend, having been in the car with her..
This is the story of two families, and how they have the love between them ripped apart.
I was thinking that Oilver's best friend be disabled, and Oliver left with one arm amputated, (or the otherway around) and the two family's fall out over it. They have to sneak between rooms in the hospital, but what will happen when they get out?
Or, it can be done with twins, and the parents trying to split them, as they can't cope with two disabled kids.
